Here’s the skinny for newcomers about MilSpouse Friday Fill-ins (and when I say MilSpouse, I mean significant others, too!):
Each week, I’ll post a list of questions on Thursday (so you can have your blog ready on Friday). Come back here on Friday and enter your blog post into Mr. Linky so others know who else participated and we can all visit other blogs. And please feel free to use the button above!
What are some of your ideas for staying connected with family…you know, those people we moved thousands of miles away from? submitted by Live it. Love it (or not). Write About It.
I still send handwritten cards and letters, my grandparents have email but I try to send them a card or letter every month or two. My Grandma LOVES it!
What’s the most romantic gift you have GIVEN? submitted by Painting My Canvas
It's not really romantic but I gave Adam tickets to a Colts game---awesome seats--for Christmas one year and it was by far the BEST gift I ever gave :)
Would you encourage your child, if they came to you and wanted to join the military? submitted by Perfectly Imperfect
Since I don't have kids I'm not sure but I like to think I would encourage my kids to follow their dreams no matter what they are.
What is your least favorite bill to pay and why? submitted by A Little of This, A Little of That
Credit cards because I always feel like and idiot for racking them up so high--as soon as they're paid off that feeling will be gone!
What is the proudest moment you’ve had as a military spouse? submitted by Our Okinawa Life
I'm betting it will be when Adam swears in and leaves this week.

Milspouse Friday Fill In
Are you a milspouse? If so check out my friend Wifey @ http://wifeofasailor.com/ She has put together this great link up for all of us to get to know one another better. The questions range from basic getting to know yous to tips for other milspouses. I personally am loving it!
- During military separations (whether short or long) how do you keep yourself positive and motivated? Since this is my first military separation, and we are only 4 days in I'm not sure if it will work but my plan is to keep myself busy!
- What is your favorite concert you have ever been to? I haven't been to very many concerts, N*SYNC and a few Contemporary Christian concerts in HS, then the ones at Six Flags when I worked there...my favorite was probably Jesse McCarty He is such a doll, and treated all of his fans and employees with respect from what I could see. And the music totally took me back to High School which was fun for a minute :)
- What do you miss most about your “hometown”? Really I don't miss much about where I grew up...I never really fit in but I do miss my mom from time to time. Louisville is more my Hometown though and I miss everything about it, the people, the things to do, being in such a large city with a small town undertone is completely my style.
- If you could run in any race, which charity would you choose to support? My first choice would be Phi Mu Foundation, I am all about raising money for my own paycheck :) on a more serious note it would probably be either 1-CMN 2-Hope Heart Institute 3-American Diabetes Association or 4-American Cancer Society.
- You find out Willy Wonka is your father, what 3 course meal do you INSIST he create in that stick of gum? Something ending in peanut butter and chocolate....not sure about the first two courses :)

Millspouse Friday fillin #32 (from my phone)
I'm posting from my phone so please forgive me for bad formatting or grammatical errors!
I love learning more about my fellow MilSpouse bloggers! MilSpouse Friday Fill-in is taking off even better than I could have ever hoped. I learned so much about my fellow bloggers and can’t wait to learn more… and hopefully even MORE will join in as we go.

Do you or your {spouse} ever wish your {spouse} was in a different branch of the military? submitted by The Turner Family
Since he hasn't even left to Boot Camp I don't think I can answer this as yes :).
What duty station(s) are on your “No Way, Hell No, Not Going, Have Fun Unaccompanied” list and why? submitted by Every Branch
There is some bumfuc* island his recruiter told me about. Other than that most if the navy bases sound fine.
If you could be one age forever, what age would you choose and why? submitted by Three Krakens
25 because I'm having a good year and it's old enough to do whatever the hell I want but young enough not to be old.
If you were a breakfast cereal, which one would you be? submitted by the C.W.
Lucky Charms because I LoVe the marshmallows :)
What is your morning beverage of choice and why? submitted by NH Girl Displaced
Orange Juice but I usually drink coffee.
